Class R - Curriculum

Dear Parents

We can’t quite believe that we are in the second half term. The progress all the children have made continues to astound us all and we are looking forward to even greater achievements this half term. As last half term, this is a general overview of the key skills and some activities we will be taking part in. The most significant being our Nativity performance in December. I apologise in advance if ever enthusiastic singers drive you mad as they learn the songs! This half term we are also introducing reading at home, in addition to sounds practice which remains an important part of learning to read. More information will follow. As ever if you need to talk, feel free to call in. If you would like to stay and ‘play’- please let us know- many hands make light(er) work and the children really benefit from adults sharing their school experience!                                                                                                                                  The Early Years Team
